Privacy notice: GTASickz giveaway
This notice explains what happens to your details when you enter the GTASickz PS5 Pro + GTA 6 giveaway on gtasickz.com.
Who is responsible
David Fowell, who runs GTASickz, is responsible for your data (the "data controller"). Contact: hi@gtasickz.com.
What we collect
- Your YouTube handle, email address and country, from the entry form.
- Your answers to the 18+, subscription and rules checkboxes.
- The time your entry was received.
- The country Cloudflare detects from your internet connection, and a hashed (one-way scrambled) version of your IP address. We never store your actual IP address.
- If you win: your full name, delivery address and any proof of age, country or subscription you send us.
Why we use it
- To run the giveaway: give you a position and tickets, check entries are valid, run the draw.
- To contact the winner and send the prize.
- To stop cheating, such as bots or multiple entries.
We rely on the fact that you asked to enter the giveaway (performing our agreement with you under the rules) and on our legitimate interest in running a fair giveaway.
Who sees it
- Everyone: your YouTube handle and position are shown on the public entry list at gtasickz.com/entries, and the winner's handle is announced in the draw video. Your email and country are never shown publicly.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and stores entries.
- A delivery company, for the winner's name and address only.
We never sell your data or use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Entry details are deleted within 3 months after the prize has been delivered (or within 3 months after the giveaway is withdrawn). The winner's delivery details are deleted once the prize has arrived.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used, by emailing hi@gtasickz.com. Deleting your entry before the draw removes you from the giveaway. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
